spent the weekend volunteering at the SF-IFF, & my favorite experience was definitely getting to watch a great film directed by Alma Har’el titled “Bombay Beach” at The Lensic; a beautiful documentary that, along with music by Beirut (which I love) weaves together the current times of 3 guys each at different stages of their lives, against the backdrop of an almost abandoned inland seaside town in California http://bombaybeachfilm.com/
